This series of images was created for the exhibition, Environment at Risk, organized by the Sierra Club - Virginia Chapter, Jan. 25 - March 17, 2019.

I was honored to be invited to participate in this exhibition and grateful to the Sierra Club for the opportunity to support its mission.

I am drawn to the natural world where I find personal and creative inspiration. As a visual artist, I am in awe of the elegant and poetic geometries and structures of a world designed to sustain life on this planet through harmonic interconnection and interdependence.

Tending toward abstraction of familiar imagery allows me to explore forms and contrasts away from their contextual origins, encouraging new perspectives and heightened appreciation of the exquisite beauty of nature’s design.
